Chinese mobile phones banned in India

China, known for its cheap electronics fake international brands will face a ban on the sale of their products in India.

India and China are at odds with each other, despite the recent mutual participation in international regional platforms such as BRIC (Brazil, India, Russia and China) and to a lesser extent, the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). Even the recent joint military exercises and fleet boat show did little to thaw icy relations between the two.

Coming back to the subject, India has increased the Cold War by the ban "cheap copy-cat Chinese mobile phones and accessories." This decision was apparently a part of India's efforts to combat terrorism (including the Chinese phones do not IMEI numbers and are difficult to detect), but it could also have led to a pressure of Nokia and other handset manufacturers tired of losses to cheap copies of their phones produced and sold by China. An institutional hatred of China is also a part of the motivation behind this extreme measure.

The Indian Cellular Association claims that some phones from China to use faulty batteries that can jump on users a significant security risk.

The number of phones imported from China knockoff is more than one million per month. This ban could seriously affect this, including local suppliers.
